In the late 90's we decided to develop a metal polish that had attributes that no other polish had. The considerations were that it had to work well on all metals, be green (no adverse chemicals to effect humans or the habitat), easy to use, have a nice scent, last for long periods of time etc. Our work was cut out for us but after about 2 years of testing and learning the variations in all the different types of metals we finalized the development of Metal Armor(r) "Precision Metal Polish". This was our mainstay for about a year until we discovered something quit amazing. This polish and formula worked on other things besides just metal. We started experimenting with paints (all types), plastics and virtually all types of hard surfaces. To our amazement the product worked extremely well on most any surface we applied it to. That's why we advertise the metal polish as a product that can be used on much more than just metal. It actually works incredibly well on all hard surfaces. We then realized that we were in need of another product, that used a finer polishing process, for the polishing of the softer paints that were coming aboard. That's when we developed the "Paint & Hard Surface Polish". After that we developed the "Final Polish & Sealant". The story goes on and on to where we are today. We have methodically developed or co-developed countless numbers of polishes, processes and products to accomplish almost any polishing challenge imaginable.
